Mission Statement

Follow After Ministries exists to glorify God by forming disciples passionately devoted to following Christ through careful and relevant exposition of the Word, intentional equipping in discipleship ministries, and the spoken and written proclamation of the gospel, in the power of the Holy Spirit to the praise of our Lord and Savior.

Biography

Brandon Cooper lives in Lombard, IL, with his wife, Amy, and five children, Charis, Adiel, Ceely, Brielle, and Callum. He is the founder of Follow After Ministries, and serves as the Senior Pastor at Cityview Community Church (www.cityviewcc.net). He authored A Word to the Wise: Lessons from Proverbs for Young Adults (Deep River Books, 2010) and several articles for Christian publications and websites, including The Gospel Coalition. His discipleship curriculum, The Journey, is used nationally and internationally, and has been translated into Spanish.

Brandon has been asked to speak at youth groups, colleges, church services and mission weeks, and educational and ministry conferences. He served on the mission field in Bogotá, Colombia, for almost seven years, both as chaplain and teacher at El Camino Academy, a school for missionary and ministry families, and Associate Pastor at the United Church of Bogotá. Before entering the mission field, he attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (B.A., English Literature) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.Div., Discipleship-Evangelism).
